Composition of Grade

To reach 100% of your grade, you will need to earn
Individual assignments — 40%

• Assignment A1: 15%
• Assignment A2: 10%
• Assignment A3: 15%

Course/Group project — 45%

• Milestone M1: 0% (early feedback is encouraged)
• Milestone M2: 10%
• Milestone M3: 10%
• Milestone M4: 25%

Class participation — 15%

• Reading Assignments: 9% (3x3%)
• Course Feedback: 6% (3% + 3%)

Final Grade

The grading scale for the course will be:
1: at least 87.5%
2: at least 75.0%
3: at least 62.5%
4: at least 50.0%

In order to pass the course successfully, you will need to reach a minimum of 20% (of the total grade) from the individual assignments as well as a minimum of 25% (of the total grade) from the course project.

Late submission

Late Submissions are possible, yet they will be penalized.

• 0 - 24 hours late: 15% penalty
• 24 - 48 hours late: 30% penalty
• 48 - 72 hours late: 50% penalty
• 72 or more hours late: 100% penalty
